Own Your Fear – Part 11

The foundation for this discussion is Susan Jeffers’ book “Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway”. Jeffers suggests that as long as we continue to grow as individuals, we will be dealing with fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of failure, fear of success … and many other fears.

In Own Your Fear – Part 11, we are looking at what Jeffers refers to as the “inner void”. That feeling that we have at times of being empty or lonely – that is an indication that we are off course, that we are not connecting with our Higher Self. Once we connect with our Higher Self we allow the good feelings to flow again. Our Higher Self is a source of positive thoughts and positive energy.

What Jeffers refers to as the “Chatterbox” is that voice within us that is a source of negative thoughts and negative energy. Our conscious mind decides whether we want to listen to our Higher Self or to our Chatterbox. This is the information that then goes to our subsoncsious mind. Which source we listen to is our choice. This is where positive thoughts and affirmations come in.

This is the final installment for this discussion. My wish is that whoever reads it takes something away that will help them align with their higher self, and live the life that they envision.
