The foundation for this discussion is Susan Jeffers’ book “Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway”. Jeffers suggests that as long as we continue to grow as individuals, we will be dealing with fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of failure, fear of success … and many other fears.
In Own Your Fear Part 10 we are looking at learning to give consciously and freely. We will find that when we give from a place of love, rather than a place of expectation, that wonderful things come back to us. When we hold on to expectations, and they are not met, we experience fear and disappointment.
One of the exercises that Jeffers gives in this chapter is that of listing the things that we are thankful for about the people in our lives, and then thanking them for that. This is something that can be very hard to do, but is very freeing. Jeffers suggests that if you cannot meet in person withthe people that you want to thank, that you simply thank themin your mind.
For me,the basis of this chapter was to be the person that you wanted to attract into your life. That our life is abundant, and that we count.
