The foundation for this discussion is Susan Jeffers’ book “Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway”. Jeffers suggests that as long as we continue to grow as individuals, we will be dealing with fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of failure, fear of success … and many other fears.
In Own Your Fear – Part 9 we will be looking at dimenishing our fear by simply saying yes to universe/spirit. Acknowledge your current circumstances and move on from there. It is that flow in our lives that we have no control over. We let go of resisting the circumstances and allow our life to flow. Our plan and spirits plan may be two different things. Don’t resist. When we allow the flow new possibilities come in.
Know that we have to be open to experiencing the pain that life can hand us. By acknowledging the pain, and working through it, we heal ourselves on all levels. Jeffers states that we need to be aware when we are saying no to life, and to consciously change that response to a yes. She also suggests consciously letting go of the tension in our body, and to look for the value from all of our experiences.
