“you must be careful never to allow doubt to paralyze you. always take the decisions you need to take, even if you’re not sure you’re doing the right thing. You’ll never go wrong if, when you make a decision, you keep in mind an old German proverb: ‘The devil is in the detail.’ Remember that proverb and you’ll always be able to turn a wrong decision into a right one.”
~ Paulo Coelho
If you follow this blog, you know that I recently made the decision to join a wellness company. I researched the company, I joined, I ordered their products, and I liked their products. I placed an order the second month (orders need to be placed each month), and I received the order. I liked the order.
Then I researched how to leave the company. There were things that just did not sit right with me. I think that my lesson here was that this had not worked for me with other companies in the past, and it wasn’t working for me now. It wasn’t the company per se, it was that the whole format, the whole process, was not something that I was comfortable with.
I am proud that I made the decision to join, and I am proud that I made the decision to leave. Where we get in trouble is when we fail to make the initial decision. Then we are stagnant in life. If our decisions turn out not to be the best for us, when can make another decision and take our lives in another direction.
Life is good!
