Is Your Health Care Provider A Resource?

Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now. ~ William Hutchison Murray

If we are patient, if we wait, if we pay attention, amazing resources will come to us. All we need to do is take advantage of them. The source of many of my resources is my healthcare provider. Aside from paying for my healthcare, they provide other incredible benefits that help me to stay in my best physical/mental/emotional condition.

Recently they offered two programs that I decided to take advantage of. The first program is an interactive online program run in conjunction with BrainHQ.com that helps provide cognitive resilience – it helps my brain stay active! I can do the exercises on my own, or work with a trainer. I decided to work alone. I am having fun, and my brain is staying active. I worked with another program before this called Luminosity. It worked well, but it was something that I had to pay for. I am happy with my healthcare providers program, and it is free.

The second program being offered is a four-week series called “The Big Know”. It is a series of videos, questions, and journaling under the auspices of Dr. Tuckson, who acts as narrator. The aim is to create in each of us a “Dr. You” – that part of us that is proactive in all areas of our mental, physical, and emotional health. I can pace myself as I wish – which I find to be a blessing.

Wherever we find resources to live a healthy, happy life, we should do so. Life is to be lived, and lived BIG!
